Gardens 2 Glow were given the task of lighting up the landscape at the Rice house. The customer wanted to make the most of his outdoor space throughout the year as well as incorporating more colour into his garden whilst also being mindful of the power consumption.

Gardens 2 Glow matched the colours of the lights to the appropriate trees and bushes at the boundary of the garden to create maximum impact. Various beam widths were used to add depth and structure to the whole effect.

Deck lights were used around a seating area to define and create a natural ambiance.

The entire effect was created using less than 100 watts.

Barnet House

Barnet House

The Original Decking Company were contacted to upgrade the garden at Barnet House. The project started with removing old, worn out timber decking boards and replacing them with composite decking. As the family had young children, they also installed stainless steel handrails around the top floor of the decking and along the side of the stairs.

The same composite decking was installed around the existing outdoor swimming pool and a UniLED colour changing pool light was used, making the swimming pool a big feature of this new garden.

UniLED lights were also used in planted areas along the perimeter of the garden, in the decking surrounding the pool and on the main deck.

Watson Terrace

Watson Terrace

Mr Watson contacted Gardens 2 Glow regarding his project as he required lighting for his newly designed patio. After visiting the site during the construction process, we were able to suggest suitable lighting to create the ambiance required.

Elysium Living designed and completed the orangery and the patio, adding in the UniLED lighting to complete the project.

Deck lights were used to light up the patio floor space and also in the water rill as they are fully submersible. Trojan Spike lights were used to pick out features in the garden and the Colossus lights were fitted against the wall to provide light in the seating area.

Higgins Manor

Higgins Manor

Mr Higgins arranged for Gardens 2 Glow to visit his garden as his current lighting was not meeting his expectations. He had a clear idea of the focal points he wanted to emphasise and we were able to advise him of the appropriate colours and lights to do the job.

Blue Colossus lights were used to highlights points around the pond area, while white and green Colossus lights were used to pick out trees as features in the garden.

Once the colours had been chosen, Gardens 2 Glow began the installation process. Only two 100 watt power supplies were required to run the lights and these were installed on either side of the garden.

When the customer was happy with the positioning of all the lights, the team returned to bury the cables and fix the lights into place.

Tittensor Deck

Tittensor Deck

The decking project at Tittensor was completed by The Original Decking Company. The customer was frustrated with the lawn area at the front of the house and requested help in deciding on the best solution for this family area.

The customer wanted the garden to be a continuation of the home for all of them to enjoy, including the family dog. Taking all of this into consideration, The Original Decking Company installed a decking area at the front of the house, leading to a lawn area. However, to avoid repeating the problems the customer had previously experienced Astroturf was laid instead.

To complete the project, UniLED deck lights were installed powered via a Dusk To Dawn sensor which turns the lights on and off automatically.

Cheshire Cabin

Cheshire Cabin

The Original Decking Company were approached to design and build a bespoke cabin in Knutsford, Cheshire.

The main cabin was needed to house a swimming pool so it could be used all year round. Once the swimming pool was fitted, anti slip composite decking was installed around the pool.

Two sets of bi fold hardwood doors were fitted to the front of the cabin, meaning during the summer months one side of the cabin can be opened up completely.

The final stage of the project was to install UniLED lighting inside and outside to ensure the customer could entertain throughout the year. Deck lights were fitted across the decking area. UniLED spike lights were used in the planters and the larger Colossus lights were used to highlight the trees, giving the cabin a great back drop.
